Government Panels

Social Sector Consulting is appointed to the Australian Government Department of Health, Disability and Ageing's Service Development Assistance Panel (SDAP) 2024 - 2027.

We deliver services under the Provider Capability & Support category across Queensland, New South Wales (NSW) and Australian Capital Territory (ACT).

What is SDAP?

SDAP provides free, expert support to aged care providers operating in rural and remote communities or delivering care to First Nations peoples. It strengthens service delivery in three key areas:

  • Provider capability and support

  • Sector development

  • Infrastructure project management.

Our Contribution

We bring deep sector knowledge and hands-on experience to help eligible organisations confidently navigate reform while continuing to deliver quality care. Our SDAP support is tailored to the unique context of each provider and the communities they are part of, recognising the distinct needs and cultural strengths of First Nations peoples across different regions.

We support organisations to:

  • Strengthen capability in delivering safe, high-quality aged care

  • Meet legislative and regulatory obligations with confidence

  • Build leadership and workforce capability across all levels

  • Improve financial management, governance, and strategic clarity

  • Reposition services in response to aged care reform and changing community needs.

Working With Us

We understand the realities of service delivery in regional, remote, and culturally diverse settings. Our support is practical, inclusive, and designed to build lasting capability—not just tick boxes.
