Administration & Project Coordinator
Social Sector Consulting is recruiting an Administration and Project Coordinator to join our small Brisbane-based team.
We're looking for someone who is exceptionally good at keeping things organised, moving and on track.
This is a varied, hands-on role supporting our consulting projects, clients and day-to-day business operations. We’re looking for someone who brings strong organisation, clear communication, attention to detail and a genuine willingness to pitch in and help things run well.
If you’d enjoy being part of a thoughtful, collaborative and growing consultancy, we’d love to hear from you.
About the role
We are looking for an organised, capable and thoughtful Administration and Project Coordinator to help our projects and our business run well. You will work across multiple consulting projects, providing the practical coordination that helps our Directors and consulting team focus on their areas of expertise.
On any given week, you might be setting up a new project, keeping track of actions and deadlines, organising a workshop, preparing project materials, coordinating a survey, following up information, updating our opportunity pipeline, scheduling projects and diaries or coordinating the moving pieces of a proposal.
This is a hands-on administration and coordination role, but it is not purely administrative.
We are looking for someone who understands what is happening around them, thinks ahead, notices when something needs attention and is comfortable taking responsibility for keeping things moving.
You will bring
strong administration and project coordination skills;
excellent organisation and attention to detail;
an ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines;
clear and professional written communication;
confidence using Microsoft 365 and learning new systems;
an ability to turn meetings and conversations into clear actions;
initiative and good judgement;
confidence communicating with colleagues, clients and external stakeholders;
a practical approach to problem-solving;
an ability to work independently while knowing when to ask for help; and
a collaborative approach to working in a small team.
